What does the future hold?

Since being introduced into this family recently it's been one hell of a roller coaster. We've had our ups and then we've had our downs. Being an empath doesn't do well in these types of environments with the ever changing moods.

An empath, for those who don't know, is a person that is able to feel the energies surrounding them. I can feel the auras or energies encasing our bodies, the hum of life strumming through us, and the feel of the earth's energy buzzing below us. Having this power can be both a blessing and a curse. Although it allows me to feel more deeply, to amplify the touch of a lover or friend, it can also cut you deep when there is so much negativity surrounding you. It can drain you, make you feel weak, like the life is being sucked out of you.

I try to stay close and build the relationship with my new coven, but I need to be surrounded by positive energy. I need it to wrap around me from the inside out, to restore and recharge me. To give me the strength to allow my positive energy to surround those I hold dearest to me.

These are troubling times, I can feel it deep within my soul. There is so much darkness surrounding us that it makes it hard to allow my true self to show through to the others. I feel the air shifting, making it easier for me to breathe now. I hope that it is a sign of more positivity coming our way.

I need for the distance that seems to be tearing my new family apart to be repaired. To be mended and be healed. I don't want for my new friends to separate when all they must do is have a sit down and sort these issues out. How must we fight the evils that threaten to tear us apart when we cannot even fight the ones within our coven? We must unite and fight as one. I call for a coven meeting. Allow us to converge and speak freely. Keeping secrets from each other is never the answer.

I can only pray that the light at the end of the tunnel will become clearer to us once we put this all behind us.
